UoA window gallery
exhibition (sept 2016)
Symonds Street, Creative Arts Industries
This installation explores the human form as a vessel of vulnerability and introspection. Three soft, ambiguous figures sit enclosed within a transparent glass space, their postures collapsed inward, embodying gestures of fatigue, withdrawal, and contemplation. The glass enclosure transforms the private act of emotional retreat into a public spectacle—inviting viewers to confront the tension between exposure and protection. Through material softness and spatial confinement, the work questions how the human condition is both observed and contained within contemporary social environments.
